More durable than recycled plastic posts, our FRP Marker Posts will withstand temperatures from -80°F to 140°F. Single Marker Shroud

Rockart Marker Shrouds provide an alternative to signing trails that are too difficult to sign using conventional fiberglass markers. Our Single Marker Shrouds are designed to display one standard 3" x 3" decal. They are compact, lightweight, and nest together to be carried in a backpack, making installation in remote wooded areas much easier. Made of high impact ABS in a UV stabilized black, which is unassuming and matches the predominant color of a pine tree.
These markers may be placed high in trees, above heavy snows, and left year-round to aid in trail grooming and winter trail events. They can be used to provide valuable information, such as trail identification, invasive weed awareness, degree of trail difficulty, route direction, mileage, trail numbers, GPS information, etc. Reflective decals may be used to provide a degree of safety for trail enthusiasts who misjudge the distance back to a trailhead after dark.

We recommend leaving the receiver sticking out of the ground about two inches to see the safety orange tip and black vinyl cap to keep dirt and water out. The receivers come with an optional stainless steel set screw on the side to secure the snow poles where vandals may try to remove them, part number 03-591. It takes very little skill, no tools, no clamps, no cable ties or bolts and less exposure to traffic. Each receiver is powder coated for durability, longevity and is maintenance free.
